Private tour of Cathedral Valley, UT My wife and I took a private tour of complete Cathedral Valley. The trip was unusual because I was driving my 4Runner and Mason, sitting on the passenger side, was guiding me and providing comments. The experience was invaluable since I gained confidence in off road driving. This is in addition to beautiful views of the Valley. After that training, my wife and I were able to do Reds Canyon in our 4Runner ourselves.

Highlight of our Trip This tour was the highlight of a wonderful Utah trip. Mason was the perfect guide- knowledgeable and personable. The afternoon/early evening time slot gave us beautiful light, and we had Cathedral Valley all to ourselves. It was an amazing experience.

Capital Reef Must Do! Just returned from 3 weeks exploring the national parks of AZ/UT. Have to give a big shout out and thanks to Sam, our tour guide, on our Jeep adventure exploring Capital Reef. This tour exceeded our expectations and was our favorite. Thoroughly enjoyed our time with Sam, so personable, interesting and a great guide. We absolutely saw things we did not anticipate (I could elaborate but that would spoil your fun) and the tour was overall a learning experience and just fun! Fully entertained and comfortable even on a cold night. I brought my group here for a star watching tour. Mason was a stellar guide! Amazing experience with blankets and hot chocolate. Grace his assistant was amazing helping us all see amazing stars, planets and galaxies. So entertaining with stories to back up the amazing constellations.

Cathedral Valley is stunning We took this tour as a way to see sights that we couldn't get to on our own, and we were not disappointed. The off-road route was bumpy but not uncomfortable. Our guide Andrew was knowledgeable about Capitol Reef's history and geology, answering all of our questions. He helped us by taking our photos at all the most scenic spots. We highly recommend this tour.

EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME! Great for groups, families, all ages! We booked a huge group of 43 people to do s'mores and stargazing at Cougar Ridge with Sleeping Rainbow and it was a highlight of our weekend! Mason is so knowledgable and willing to take time to show us everything we wanted to see and more! I HIGHLY recommend doing a stargazing tour here - you can't beat the Certified Dark Sky!

THE way to see Capitol Reef Since we are not as mobile as we used to be and tend to need restrooms more often too, we were a bit concerned that 4-wheeling for 5-7 hours would be beyond our comfort level, but this was absolutely the way to go. Mason, our guide and the owner of Sleeping Rainbow Adventures, was very safety conscious, knowledgeable about so many things, enthusiastic, accommodating, and the best listener. He used to work for the NPS, so he had lots of training and knowledge. It was obvious that he loves his job and has a deep connection to Capitol Reef. His flexibility made us feel so comfortable. Mason thought of everything from water and snacks to phone chargers, to the lighting and clean windows for photography as well as our physical and psychological comfort. He knows the park so well and has stories of the changes he himself has witnessed as well as cultural, historical, geological, climatic, and ecological changes. We wish we could take him with us to all the National and State Parks, so we could see what most people don’t. Capitol Reef, of all the Mighty 5, requires more than just Rt 24 to truly appreciate the vastness, diversity, and amazing rock and land formations. Our favorite was Glass Mountain followed closely by the Bentonite Hills. If you want to see the secrets of Capitol Reef, go with this company in a beautiful, enclosed Jeep with climate control. You’ll get very individual service and attention tailored to your interests and abilities. We feel like we made a friend, and we are grateful for the personalized experience we got.

One of the Best Experiences Ever! This was a great adventure. It was just my friend and I along with our guide Mason and his brother Zack. Mason was a wealth of knowledge and we learned so much about the history of the area, the geology, plants, and had great conversation about many things. We would have never seen Glass Mountain, the Temples of the Sun and Moon, or the Cathedral Valley without the tour and their expertise. Both men were so personable and gracious! They helped these two limited mobility women into the jeeps and assisted us in many ways! Incredible experience and I even gave their business information we met later at Bryce Canyon! Thanks for the adventure!

Do it! We did the Capitol Reef Stargazing experience with Mason and are so happy we decided to do this (kind of on a whim!). Mason was super knowledgeable and hospitable. He showed us so many planets and constellations and used both a digital and analog telescope to contrast our views. He shared SO much information about the mythological stories behind the stars and planets, and astronomy in general, and showed us things we never even knew existed. He also sent us photos afterwards, as remembrances of the evening, which was super appreciated. The only thing I would change next time around would be to time our trip so that it's during the new moon and we could see even more. Truly a unique experience and a highlight of our time in Torrey.
